The Workbook of A Course In Miracles is a masterpiece of mind training, impeccably crafted to catalyze within the individual an experience of thought not bound by the constraints of time, space, or human organizational principles. It is a spiritual course. Utilizing the energy inherent in paradox, the Workbook constantly and accumulatively challenges the mind thinking conceptually with the impossibility of any reality limited by conceptual thought.

The lessons of the Course confront gently, yet experientially, every reference of limited identity based on fear, loss, suffering, conflict and death. "I am upset because I see something that is not there." The Workbook provokes the mind past the restrictions of perceptual observation to the infinite horizons inherent in the paradigm of Singular Reality. "I Am One Self, United with My Creator."  The unfettering of judgment through forgiveness becomes the recognition of Love giving to Itself.

The transition from time to eternity is found in a continuing discovery of the present moment called a “Holy Instant”. This becomes a practice of a new spirituality through the release of our own personal construction of conflict and the liberation from our own characterization of self-identity. Moreover, the action of the relinquishment of the past, or observed perception, has profound physical and psychological consequences.  That forgiveness is healing needs to be understood…To forgive is to heal.

The Inevitability of Healing

The miracle of physical healing is not an end in itself, but a simultaneous effect of the experience of “At-One-ment” towards which the Workbook directs us.  Described by many as religious in scope, the spiritual experience is not bound to any specific religion. Forgiveness becomes the catalyst to healing.  We evolve into an ever-expanding inclusiveness of heart, mind, and body. In a quantum moment of forgiveness, we awake to the memory of Ourself as One, as a fully endowed, powerful expression of the Single Source of Reality, Eternally Creating Life and Love, which is our natural inheritance.
